Steadfast Supply
Ballston marks this concept shop’s second area location (its flagship is in The Yards in D.C.). An incubator of sorts for new and emerging designers, Steadfast carries a curated selection of gifts, apparel, jewelry, accessories, food, stationery and home décor, including founder Virginia Arrisueno’s own line of chunky knitwear, DeNada. At 1,000 square feet, the kid- and pet-friendly store will be laid out “like a gallery,” says Arrisueno (she’s married to street muralist Kelly Towles), with a particular focus on Virginia wares, plus the same types of sample sales, DIY workshops, classes and shopping events that one finds at the D.C. store.
