Stratford Wine & Oyster Festival

Wander the 18th-century gardens of this historic property and sample Virginia wines and craft brews, food truck fare and coastal oysters (Rappahannock River Oyster Company, Great Wicomico Oyster Company , Nomini Bay Oyster Ranch, Bay Pearl Seafood and Catering) while perusing works by area artisans. The festival includes live music, car shows, oyster shucking and cooking demos and other activities for all ages. Tasting tickets (which come with a wine glass) are $25-$30. Non-tasting tickets are $20. Entry fee for kids 7-12 is $5; 6 and under are free.
