2941 Restaurant

Trees surround this Falls Church restaurant’s impossibly tall windows, and the large, elegantly appointed space is enough to calm anyone’s nerves. Executive chef Bertrand Chemel is offering a prix fixe, three-course menu with appetizers like butternut squash veloute,  beet salad, tuna tartare, crab salad,  foie-gras mousse or wild boar pappardelle.  Then come the entree choices: turkey breast with mushroom stuffing, sea bass with caviar, surf and turf (turkey and lobster) or a filet mignon with root vegetables. Desserts include apple pie, pecan tart, pumpkin financier or pistachio cake with cranberry sorbet. There are vegetarian options, too. Food will be served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $69 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under.
