12. Taco Bamba

Things will be business as usual at Taco Bamba’s original storefront in Falls Church (a great option for carryout if you’re planning your own backyard fiesta). But if you want to experience chef/owner Victor Albisu’s talents in full force, you can head to the micro-chain’s D.C. location for a rooftop pig roast featuring whole suckling pig, a taco bar, ceviche bar, a live DJ and an open booze bar serving margaritas, palomas and frozen mezcal pina coladas. Tickets are $30 (admission, plus all-you-can-eat food), plus an additional $30 for the open bar and artisan mezcal tasting.

900 7th Street NW, DC; 2190 Pimmit Drive, Falls Church
