Need a little retail therapy but hesitant to venture out shopping? You can scratch that itch this weekend without leaving the comforts of your couch, and support local stores and two worthy nonprofit organizations in the process.
A dozen area boutiques will be participating in the Sip and Style Virtual Fashion Show FunRaiser on January 23, including Two the Moon, Lemoncello Boutique, Scout & Molly’s, Casual Adventure, Everard’s Clothing, Pacers Running, Kendra Scott and several others.
Hosted by Elizabethany of 99.5 IHeartRadio, the online event includes a silent auction with proceeds benefiting two charities—the Arlington-based Jennifer Bush-Lawson Foundation, which helps to ensure access to high-quality maternal and infant care for new moms and babies, and the Raymond A. Wood Foundation, a nonprofit that supports hypothalamic-pituitary brain tumor survivors.
Participating shops will have merchandise—women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, athletic gear, home decor and jewelry—available for online ordering.
Visit sipandstylefunraiser.org for registration details and a complete list of stores and boutiques. Ticket packages include an option that delivers a mimosa kit to your doorstep to enjoy during the fashion show.
