Animal lovers can support local rescues and spoil their pets with a summer treat during the month of August at Arlington's Bistro 360.
The restaurant, located at 1800 Wilson Blvd., will serve up dog-friendly peanut butter-banana cookies, oatmeal-bacon biscuits and yogurt-beef stock "pupsicles" for $5 each, all ready for four-legged patrons to enjoy on the pup-accessible patio.
Also through the end of August, 25 percent of sales from a handful of menu items will benefit the Animal Welfare League of Arlington and Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. The special menu items include smoked salmon mousse, pulled pork BBQ sliders, the Salty Dog cocktail and the Mixed Breed wine flight.
The "Dog Days of Summer" menu is available from 4 p.m. – close Monday through Friday and during brunch and dinner hours on Saturday and Sunday.
