Misa a Buenos Aires with QuinTango

Armed Forces Cycling Classic
June 1-2
Hold onto your helmets because this cycling event is returning to Arlington for its 26th year, and there are options for all riders. On June 1, the Challenge Ride welcomes cyclists of all abilities to navigate a closed course in National Landing, and kiddos 9 and younger can go spoke-to-spoke in the kids race. The Women’s and Men’s Pro/Am races then take place over two days. The Clarendon Cup happens on June 2, when the winners of the Pro/Am races will be declared on a 1-kilometer course around the Clarendon Metro. Sponsored by Boeing, this annual event draws cyclists from around the country and the United Kingdom, Germany and New Zealand.
Tinner Hill Heritage Music Festival

This year’s festival lineup includes the internationally acclaimed Blind Boys of Alabama; Grammy Lifetime Achievement winner George Porter Jr. and Runnin’ Pardners; D.C. jazz-fusion stalwarts The Blackbyrds; Wammie award-winning go-go band JoGo Project; and the all-women Afro-Brazilian percussion band Batalá Washington. The 30th annual music event and fundraiser honors the Civil Rights legacy of Tinner Hill, home to the nation’s first rural branch of the NAACP. Enjoy a day of live tunes, craft beers, barbecue and other tasty options from Little City vendors. Kid-friendly activities will include face painting and puppy petting areas.
