As the coronavirus lockdown continues, area food suppliers are getting creative about how and where they deliver their wares. Wholesalers like ProFish and Keany Produce have opened their doors to consumers eager to get their hands on pasta, seafood and locally grown vegetables. Small farmers have expanded their CSA pick-up points, and farmers markets have set up pre-ordering systems to streamline pick-ups while adhering to social distancing guidelines. Bakeries such as Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe, Bread and Water Co. and Spring Mill Bread  have begun selling flour, yeast and sourdough starters, to the delight of home bakers who have found their grocery store baking aisles cleaned out. And many restaurants, seeking new ways to feed their customers while keeping their supply chains intact, are now offering grocery provisions alongside the prepared dishes on their takeout menus.
