Requin

Elegant dishes are a standout at this French-Mediterranean restaurant in the Mosaic District. The three-course dinner menu includes deviled lamb rillettes and eggplant-tomato ratatouille for starters; confit duck leg, moules frites and Spanish octopus for entrees, and blueberry clafouti, chocolate soufflé or a cheese plate for dessert.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

A four-course menu is offered for dinner at this steakhouse chain in Crystal City. It includes Caesar or steakhouse salad; filet of beef, salmon or mixed grill; creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms or garlic mashed potatoes; and cheesecake for dessert.

SER

A Spanish twist is being offered on staples such as salmon and chicken. Desserts are house-made flan or fresh berries topped with cream, from Virginia’s Northern Neck.

TenPenh Tysons

Diners can choose three courses from the extensive menu at this Asian fusion eatery. Starters include an assortment of steamed buns, spring rolls and Thai green-papaya salad. Entrées bring options such as a sushi platter, roast duck or tempura soft-shell crabs. Then cool off with Taiwanese shaved snow (fruit, condensed milk and boba pearls) or a chilled matcha latte.

The Capital Grille

Another power eating spot, this Tysons restaurant serves classics such as Caesar salad or New England clam chowder; filet mignon, porcini-rubbed sliced tenderloin or dry-aged New York strip; and flourless chocolate espresso cake or crème brulee for dessert.
