Fleming’s Steakhouse
Yes, it’s a steakhouse, but the Restaurant Week menu at spot inside the Courtyard by Marriott Tysons has options for carnivores and non-meat-eaters alike. Entrée choices include a filet of steak, mushroom ravioli or pan-seared chicken breast, plus sides of sautéed spinach or mashed potatoes. For dessert there’s cheesecake, crème brulee or vanilla or chocolate ice cream.
Fogo de Chao
In addition to its massive salad bar, which includes an array of prepared salads, vegetables and feijoada (black-bean stew served with rice), the Brazilian steakhouse chain also prompts diners to choose from various meats including top sirloin, leg of lamb, pork chops and chicken, along with side dishes such as cheese bread and caramelized bananas, and one of three desserts.
Founding Farmers
Saturday and Sunday brunch are excluded from the Restaurant Week menu at this Tysons outpost, but lunch and dinner include any bread or starter, an entrée and a dessert. Too full for something sweet? Founding Farmers will give you an $8 gift card for dessert on your next visit.
Fyve at the Ritz-Carlton
For lunch, this power spot near the Pentagon offers a Caesar salad or corn bisque to start, and crab cake sliders, a pulled chicken sandwich or summer quinoa risotto as mains. The featured desserts are roasted peaches with almond cake, or a mountain berry tea brulée. Dinner options include pan-seared Atlantic salmon or steak frites.
Hula Girl Bar and Grill
Go Hawaiian with this Shirlington eatery’s island-themed menu choices. Options include musubi (Spam and rice wrapped in seaweed), edamame or ahi poke to start; chicken teriyaki or kalua pork and cabbage for main dishes; and haupia – coconut with a tropical fruit drizzle – or a deep-friend yeast donut dipped in sugar for dessert. Additional options at dinner include shell-on shrimp and panko-crusted chicken breast.
Jaleo Crystal City
Jose Andrés’ popular Spanish tapas place has a four-course menu. Starters include sheep’s-milk cheese and quince paste or mushroom soup with cheese. For a second course, try the bean salad or traditional chicken fritters. A third course brings pork loin or grilled chicken with garlic sauce. And for dessert? Opt for  traditional flan or chocolate custard with brioche ice cream.
