Cheesetique
The popular cheese shop and cafe with locations in Shirlington, Ballston and Del Ray offers a rotating selection of seasonal cheeses and artisan meats, plus a choice of two entrées – Brie and pear with a side of greens, or the “Mac ‘n Cheesetique” – and chocolate mousse to share with your dining companion.
Chef Geoff’s Tysons
Brunch starts with cinnamon donuts or nutella crepes, followed by main dish options such as frittatas, warm chicken salad, Belgian waffles or eggs Benedict – and, of course, bottomless mimosas. At dinner, customers can order a snack, appetizer, soup or starter salad; an entrée; and one dessert.
Circa at Clarendon
For lunch, try a blackened-chicken-mango salad or lobster ravioli. Dessert choices are chocolate chip cookies or Nutella trifle. Dinner can be pasta primavera, a bison-blue-cheese burger, seared scallops or a salmon salad.
Epic Smokehouse
Got a big appetite? Kahlua pig rolls, smokehouse chili and grilled chicken sandwiches are some of the lunch offerings at this Crystal City establishment. For dinner, try a special Restaurant Week combo of smoked baby-back ribs, sausage and pulled pork with fries. Or go for prime rib or crab cakes. For dessert, there’s house-made key-lime pie, bread pudding or Guinness cheesecake.
Evening Star
Diners can choose any first course, entrée or dessert from the menu at this Del Ray cafe. Options include fennel soup, crispy pork belly, pastrami swordfish, duck confit, pan-roasted hake or pasta with pesto.
