9. Shucktoberfest
Head to the Village at Shirlington on Oct. 20 and you’ll find more than 30 craft beer tents, food stands and oysters. Organized by Copperwood Tavern, the family-friendly event is free for kids. For adults, general admission ($26.50) includes 10 tickets, each of which is good for one beer sampler or two oysters.
