Patsy’s American
Great American Restaurants eateries such as Coastal Flats, Sweetwater Tavern and Carlyle have stood the test of time in Northern Virginia’s dining landscape, and founders Patsy and Randy Norton have been married more than 50 years. Now the couple’s three kids have launched a love letter of sorts—a trio of new properties in Tysons that constitute an homage. The 300-seat Patsy’s American serves GAR fan-favorite dishes (think hickory-grilled fish, lobster rolls, baby back ribs and salads topped with fried goat cheese) and addictive breads courtesy of an adjacent second location of the company’s Best Buns Bakery (the original is in Shirlington). Randy’s Prime Seafood & Steaks, slated to open later this summer, promises raw bar, fresh seafood, prime and Wagyu steaks and a serious wine list.
