Le Kon
Top Chef contender Katsuji Tanabe brings the flavors of his heritage (born and raised in Mexico, he is the son of a Mexican mother and a Japanese father) to the former Park Lane Tavern space in Clarendon. The space now features hip Day-of-the-Dead and pop-art decor, and the kitchen dishes up Asian-inspired Mexican fare (think smoked hamachi ceviche with lemongrass and spicy miso pork belly tacos). The unique menu also features entrees like no-carb chilaquiles, charred corn esquites (Mexican corn) and churro French toast for brunch.
