Gyu-Kaku Japanese Barbecue

This national Japanese barbecue chain has made its Arlington (and Virginia, for that matter) debut in Clarendon. Curated by a traditional Japanese chef, the menu offers massive, multi-course feasts for two, four or six people that promise to leave no one hungry. The “Samurai,” for example, includes miso soup, salad, garlic noodles, bibimbap, seven kinds of barbecued marinated beef, chicken, shrimp, asparagus, corn and dessert. You can also order a la carte.

1119 N. Hudson St., Arlington

Opened: Sept. 5
