Keeping it in the family…with style. Both Zoya Bitici and Amy Bitici—the mother-in-law/daughter-in-law team behind Zoya’s Atelier—have been in the fashion industry for decades. Together, they’ve established Northern Virginia’s most talked-about wedding and evening wear boutique. Amy literally grew up among bridal gowns at the London boutique owned by her grandmother and great-grandmother. Zoya learned her craft from the best; she earned her degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), owned boutiques and design studios in New York and was once an instructor at Parson’s School of Design.

Zoya and Amy are part of an entrepreneurial family from both sides of the Atlantic that includes Zoya’s husband, Mike Bitici, and Amy’s husband, Albert Bitici. Mike, a longtime restaurateur in New York City, was instrumental in helping Zoya’s Atelier open its doors in 2017. Albert, a property development entrepreneur and member of the Falls Church City Architectural Advisory Board, recently founded The Bitici Group of Keller Williams—a modern real estate company that draws on Albert’s extensive international knowledge of all aspects of residential and commercial real estate. Whether helping clients find their ideal home or the perfect dress, the Biticis’ sole focus is providing impeccable customer service.

In just two years, Zoya’s Atelier has become the go-to place for anyone seeking special attire for weddings, galas and bar mitzvahs. Zoya and Amy style each customer from head to toe, selecting undergarments, jewelry and shoes to complete the look. “Many brides come in with their own mothers-in-law and can’t quite believe how much fun we have working together,” says Amy Bitici. “The experience at the Atelier is very intimate. Our customers become part of our family.”
