Orthodontics is both a science and an art, says Hani Thariani, owner of TBraces: “The art of it is the aesthetic, the balance, the proportions, how a certain smile fits a certain face, and the science, of course, is behind all the movements and mechanics.” A Harvard grad, Thariani joined an Arlington practice in 1994 that he eventually took over. Today, he and Vincent Boyle, who joined the practice in 2021, see about 65 patients per day, ranging in age from 6 to 90, at their Arlington and Herndon offices. “We always make our patients feel like we’re treating them as we treat our own family,” Boyle says.
