Joseph brings over 25 years’ experience to hair styling. He’s worked at the Andre Chreky Salon in Washington and at the Alexandre de Paris Salon in Fairfax. Joseph studied at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, and at the Toni and Guy Academy in London.

New trends for the holidays showing up in fashion magazines and on runaways is graying or silvering of the hair and adding pastel colors such as pinks, lavenders and blues. “Silver and white is going to be the thing in the next couple of years, even for young people,” Joseph says. At Salon Anu, hair painting with specially cut brushes is used to apply highlights or low lights by hand to add dramatic effects.
