Customers who can’t get enough of Junction Bakery & Bistro’s muffins, scones and other breakfast treats can order dinner at the cozy eatery starting this week.
Items on the evening menu include entrée salads, meatloaf, lasagna, burgers (veggie and traditional), and a roasted turkey banh mi sandwich. Prices range from $5 to $11 for appetizers and $12 to $18 for entrees. A kids’ menu includes buttered noodles and chicken tenders, and there are local beers on tap and wines from Virginia, California, Italy and France by the glass or bottle.

The restaurant used to close at 5 p.m.; starting this week, dinner will be served Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m.
“Our customers have been pleading for it,” says Laura Belisle, the restaurant’s communications director. “We’d regularly get people knocking on the door at 5:30 wanting to get a baguette and soup for dinner.”
