If you are adorning your windows (or a glass-paned door) with seasonal wreaths, don’t ignore the backs. Try building out both sides so they can be enjoyed from inside and outside the house. For visual interest, mix foliage with different leaf sizes and shapes. May likes to start with magnolia stems on a metal frame, then intersperse those big, waxy leaves with boxwood and finish with ribbon. There’s no hard-and-fast rule that your holiday color scheme must be red and green or silver and gold. Choose fresh accent colors that make you happy.
