The Trading Post 

Nov. 8, 5-10 p.m.

This local maker’s market hosted by Kam & 46 and Tia Wilson Art will feature more than 15 artists and vendors at Upside on Moore. Shop for gourmet soups, nuts and spices from Boso Kitchen,  trendy looks by Delikado Studio and handmade jewelry by Curio by Angel. All of the food hall vendors, including Ghostburger, Lucky Danger and Laoban Dumplings will be open until 10 p.m. Parking is free at Rosslyn City Center if validated after 6 p.m. // 1700 N. Dominion Guild Merry Market 

Nov. 12, 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Nov. 13, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Some 25 vendors will be showcasing giftables for putting under your tree or next to your menorah, including items from Arm Candy, Brake Ink Stationery and The Golden Fox Boutique. Refreshments and sweets will be available for purchase. Tickets for the Nov. 13 market cost $15 and can be purchased online or at the door. Proceeds will support local nonprofits, including Arlington Thrive, which provides emergency financial support to help neighbors make rent, and pay utilities and medical bills; and the Center for Youth and Family Advocacy, which works with children, particularly of color, to navigate the criminal legal system. For a super festive kick-off to the holiday season, a $55 ticket to the Bubbly and Bites evening shopping event on Tuesday, Nov. 12 also includes entry to the all-day market on Wednesday. // 5115 Little Falls Road, Arlington (inside the Knights of Columbus building)

Mothers of North Arlington Annual Holiday Market

Nov. 14, 7-9:30 p.m.

This annual event, formerly known as Sip ‘N Shop, promises more than 40 local vendors under one roof, plus wine and snacks for purchase while you browse. Registration is free, but the “all you can drink” bracelet is $7 in advance or $10 at the door. Expect to find apparel, accessories, skincare, cosmetics, ceramics, art, books, jewelry and more. // 5115 Little Falls Road, Arlington (Rock Spring, in the Knights of Columbus building)

Cherrydale Holiday Market

Nov. 16, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Formerly known as the Cherrydale Holiday Art Market, this free, family-friendly indoor and outdoor event founded by Arlington artist Alanna Rivera returns to the Cherrydale Methodist Church. Support small businesses selling handmade pottery, candles, soaps, paintings, ornaments, dog bandanas and fair-trade apparel. Some Arlington-based vendors include candlemaker and stationer Wick and Paper; Tara Barr Art, a maker of oil paintings; and Cafecito Coffee Club, a seller of single-origin speciality coffee from Colombia. Made in ALX Holiday Maker’s Market

Nov. 30, 12-5 p.m.

Pure Barre Falls Church’s 8th Annual Holiday Sip & Shop

Nov. 21, 6-8 p.m.

Launched by Pure Barre Falls Church in 2017, this festive event encourages community members to connect with local businesses. Browse clothing, candles, jewelry, accessories, chocolates, cookies, holiday decor, dolls and more. Vendors this year include Harper Leigh Designs handmade jewelry and accessories; Milkworthy, a maker of musically-inspired artisanal cookies; and Shop Like You Live Here’s local art prints, greeting cards and stickers. Del Ray Artisans’ 29th Annual Fine Art & Fine Craft Holiday Market

Held the first three weekends in December: Fridays 6-9 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. 

The 29th annual Del Ray Artisans Holiday Market offers handmade crafts in a variety of media, including fiber and textiles, glass, jewelry, clay, ornaments, mosaics and paintings. Come back each weekend to see new artists. Some of the vendors this year include: Gina Finding Beauty photographs, Timothy Duncan Ceramics and jewelry makers such as Rozzie Jewelry and Megan Elaine Designs. The gallery is free to attend. McLean Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival

Dec. 6, 10 a.m.- 7 p.m.
Dec. 7, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Dec. 8, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Seasonal cheer awaits at this three-day juried show featuring 80 regional artisans. This holiday market has been offering handmade gifts for more than 40 years. Stroll to music as you shop and enjoy a drink or lunch from the onsite café. Admission is $5 for visitors 13 and over, and is good for all three days of the show. On Friday night, make it a date night and join in on a new happy hour from 4-7 p.m. ($15). The annual festival is managed by the Northern Virginia Handcrafters Guild, a nonprofit dedicated to helping artists and craftspeople exhibit and sell their work.

LAC Studios Show and Sale

Falls Church Holiday Gift and Craft Show

The event will feature seasonal drinks and treats from Twelve Twenty Coffee‘s camper coffee truck. Washington-Liberty High School Holiday Bazaar

Dec. 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

This year marks the 64th annual Washington-Liberty Holiday Bazaar. Support the W-L senior class and many clubs and teams by buying gifts from more than 85 local craft vendors and 50 school clubs and boosters. This annual fundraiser also features high school choir performances and tasty snacks to enjoy while you browse.
