Located on the Rock Lititz live-event production campus in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, a new boutique property called Hotel Rock Lititz is open to the public, with a “We Will Rock You” vibe that’s sure to resonate with music aficionados. More than 30 show-focused companies are clustered on the 96-acre campus, which is also home to a rehearsal studio for production crews and artists to perfect their technical and creative performances before going on tour.
The hotel, which opened in November, offers 139 rooms and suites, each with a mini or full fridge, comfortable bed and sofa, and black sliding bathroom doors made from repurposed concert equipment cases. The wallpaper on the rooms’ accent walls was created from photos of more than 1,000 backstage concert passes for acts such as Billy Joel, Beyoncé and Bruce Springsteen. Two penthouse suites come with a full kitchen and luxury master bath (but not the wallpaper).
Additional concert elements are incorporated throughout the hotel—from a chain mesh installation in the lobby that depicts some of the sound waves from the Fleetwood Mac song “The Chain” to a lighting grid used on concert tours that is suspended over a billiards table. Public areas are adorned in vintage and current tour posters.
Relax by the fireplace and play pool or table shuffleboard in the fun lobby lounge adjacent to restaurant and bar Per Diem. Rates at Hotel Rock Lititz start at $189 per night.
