Mosaic Farmers Market
This year-round farmers market in the Mosaic District in Merrifield is strategically located in an area dense with upscale restaurants and shops. (Go for brunch before or after shopping?) It’s open on Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from April to December and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from January to March. With 65 vendors, the market is divided into two sections: artisanal food producers and farmers. On beautiful days, there may be live music.

New this year: Angelic Beef from Fauquier County, Va., and Blue Ridge Dairy, offering yogurt and mozzarella from a dairy farm in Lovettsville, Va.
