Falls Church Farmers Market
Fifty vendors show up to sell their wares at this year-round Saturday market near City Hall, which runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. during the summer and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. from January through March. Market manager Howard Herman says that dozens of vendors apply to be part of the market every year, so turnover is rare.
Location:Â 300 Park Ave. (City Hall Parking Lot), Falls Church
New this year: A prepared food area where customers can buy crepes and other goodies. Herman says he hopes one day to set up a picnic table where market-goers can sit, have a cup of coffee and take in the scene.
