Marymount Farmers Market
Marymount’s Saturday market opened for the first time last year and runs from the end of May to the weekend before Thanksgiving. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and sometimes there’s live music. One nifty thing to note: The market’s website includes a produce calendar indicating which fruits and vegetables are in season.
Location: Marymount University,  2807 N. Glebe Road, Arlington
New this year: Arlington Donut Holes of Alexandria, specializing in gourmet donuts holes served with a dipping sauce; Taste of Istanbul of Sterling, Va., serving homemade Turkish foods such as borek and dolma; and Café Los Suenos of Baltimore, a small-batch coffee roaster.
