Hop to it! It’s time for egg hunts and Easter Bunny pics. Here are some egg-cellent egg hunts and Easter festivals near you that are all they’re cracked up to be.

Butler’s Orchard Bunnyland
Take a hayride down the decorated Day Trail, hunt for (unfilled) eggs, slide the slides and jump that energy out at Butler’s Orchard’s annual Bunnyland festival, open 9 a.m.-6 p.m., April 12-13, 17-19, 21, 26-27. Kids can visit with farm animals and barnyard bunnies—and, for an extra fee, get their faces painted, go for a pony ride or drive a mini digger. Admission is $12-$15 online or $15-18 at the gate. Easter at The Perch
Break out your pastels and hop to this three-acre sky park for an ultimate Easter Egg Hunt with 3,000 eggs and sweeping views of Tysons from 11 stories up. Kids can get close with alpacas, bunnies and baby goats at the petting zoo, and attend a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny. The event kicks off with a 1-mile Color Fun Run at 10 a.m., where participants will be splattered with pastel colors. Adult-centric activities include goat yoga, a paint and sip class, and festive spring beverages such as mimosas, white sangria and Bunny Marys. Chinquapin Park Underwater Egg Hunt
During this underwater egg-stravaganza in the Chinquapin Rec Center pool, kids can hunt for as eggs, discover special prize eggs and enjoy sweet treats, as well as an inflatable obstacle course and a special visit from Alex the Bunny. Falls Church Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Bring an Easter basket to Cherry Hill Park for this free, annual event. Little ones can enjoy pre-egg hunt activities, pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Bunny, and springtime crafts before the egg hunt begins at 10 a.m. Afterward, stick around for a magic show. Great Country Farms Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Bunny has hidden some treat-filled eggs throughout the farm and he needs children to help find them. Egg Hunts are an optional $7.99 add-on for kids, through April 19 with a paid farm admission. Two egg-hunt areas, open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., offer treat-seeking fun: one for children ages 3 and under, and the other for children 4-10. Be sure to get tickets in advance as the egg hunts sell out every year. Kids can also visit baby chicks and other baby animals and take a wagon ride. Long Bridge Aquatic Egg Hunt
Bring your bathing suit, goggles and a water-safe basket for a fun twist on the traditional spring egg hunt—in the pool—on April 13 from 1-4:45 p.m. All aquatic egg hunters will receive a goodie bag prize, with extra prizes for whoever finds the golden egg. Tickets are $15 for residents and $17 for non-residents. Sign up here for a 45 minute time slot. There are two slots for kids 5 and under, and two slots for kids ages 6-12. The scavenger hunt ends when all items are found, but participants can keep swimming until the end of their assigned time slot. Adults need not register but must remain on site. Children who cannot swim must be accompanied by an adult and wear a life jacket. Shipgarten Kids and Family Festival
The Easter Bunny is hosting a family-oriented festival on April 13 from noon to 6 p.m. with face painting, arts and crafts, live music, moon bounces and an outdoor playground. Dogs are welcome and can enjoy a Pup Cup or Kong filled with peanut butter, as well as the off-leash dog park. Sunrise Brunch and Easter Egg HuntÂ
The Easter Bunny will spread cheer—and candy filled eggs—at Sunrise of Arlington, a senior living facility working to foster connections between its residents and the community. The event kicks off with a brunch April 13 at noon, followed by an egg hunt at 1 p.m. The hunt is free and open to the public. Come and register for the egg hunt as early as noon and get a photo with the Easter Bunny himself. Brunch is $26 and is open to the public. Tudor Place Eggstravaganza
Break out the bunny ears, pastel dresses and seersucker for this annual D.C. event, which promises Easter Bunny photo ops, an egg hunt and an egg roll (bring your own basket, hard-boiled egg and spoon), plus arts and crafts, activities and games. Tickets are $15 for child members and $20 for child non-members. Accompanying adults are $10. Potomac Overlook Park Spring Egg Hunt
Spring is here, and the annual egg hunt is back at Potomac Overlook. Stop by between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. any day from April 12-20, pick up an egg hunt sheet at the nature center, explore the park on a scavenger hunt, and then return to the nature center with your completed sheet for a prize. Upton Hill Regional Park
Kids can hop down the Bunny Trail collecting clues and showing off their artistic skills during this unique egg hunt. Check in at the front desk of ClimbUPton for an activity sheet, then navigate the loop to earn treat-filled eggs. Along the trail are instructions of what to draw on the activity sheet. Water Park Easter Egg Hunt
