Hibiscus Fizz at Green Pig Bistro
The ruby red, tropical hibiscus flower – which some medical studies have shown to aid in lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels — stars in Green Pig’s Hibiscus Fizz, a lightly carbonated drink made with lemon juice and hibiscus simple syrup. The restaurant also has a housemade ginger brew on the menu every day, and assistant GM Starlynne Vogeley says the bar staff loves to get creative with mocktails. ”I know this,” she says, “as they made me plenty when I was expecting.”
