Color Your World

Step away from the black suit, ladies. Periwinkle aims to coax fashion conservatives just slightly out of their comfort zones.

Which is exactly what Mason wants her clientele to do. “One of the reasons I carry the whole outfit is because I want to help customers envision the entire look,” she explains. “They might only walk out with a dress, but at least they can see the whole outfit.”

Mikos says that Periwinkle’s staff is its greatest asset. Store managers work at all locations and double as stylists and personal shoppers.

“They’re not just clerks,” brags Mason. “We tend to be very honest with people. If I can see something doesn’t work on them, I’ll direct them toward something else that’s better suited to their body type. Ultimately, they’re the ones who have to be comfortable in it. I want them to feel fantastic.”
