15 Fun Places to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo In and Around Arlington

Find street parties, live music, salsa lessons, games, and specials on tacos, margs and cervezas at these springtime fiestas.

Cinco de Mayo commemorates Mexico’s victory over the French army at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. It’s a relatively minor holiday south of the border, but a popular fiesta for Americans who love any excuse to live it up with tacos, margs and their best amigos. These local establishments are going all out for Cinco de Mayo—some as early as May 3—with vibrant flavors, games and Latin beats.
