Livin’ the Pie Life
This enticing little bakery on Glebe Road is famous for its sweet and savory pies, and co-owner Heather Sheire says her Mom’s Traditional Apple Pie is popular no matter what the season. Variations on the theme include sour-cream-apple pie and apple-cranberry pie and, less often, apple coffee cake and caramel-apple cinnamon rolls. Starting in about a week, the shop will also offer caramel apples through Christmas.
