More than 260 people gathered at the Clarendon Ballroom to support Bridges to Independence and A-SPAN (Arlington Street People’s Assistance Network) in their fight to end homelessness in Arlington. Notable attendees included television celebrity chef David Guas, owner of Bayou Bakery, Keller Williams Metro Center CEO Shane McCullar, and Congressman Don Beyer, who was the recipient of the annual Bridging the Gap Community Service Award. A number of prominent local leaders also attended, including State Senator Barbara Favola, State Delegate Rip Sullivan, State Delegate Alfonso Lopez, County Board Chair Libby Garvey, County Board Member Christian Dorsey, County Board Member Katie Cristol, A-SPAN CEO Kathy Sibert and Bridges to Independence Executive Director Samuel Kelley Jr. Committee Chairs were Natalie Roy, Cindy May, Michael Kyle, and Victoria Shave, all from Keller Williams Realty in Arlington. Planning Committee members included Jane Ramirez, Benjamin Jones, Kathy Fong, Ken Courtade, Kristina Kada, Dawn
Wilson, Scott Miller, Jeanette Norton, and Amanda Holler.
