Cinco de Mayo. It’s a day whose history is commonly misinterpreted but whose drinking potential is often fully understood. To help you make an informed decision about where to get into the spirit (pun intended), here are some of the festivities and specials at area eateries.
TTT
Recently opened Mexican street-fare restaurant TTT has several intriguing food options on its menu (Requeson and hibiscus flower tacos, anyone?) and offers a classic margarita (silver tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice) in its lineup of more elaborate cocktails. On Cinco de Mayo, a DJ will be in the house from 8 p.m. to closing.
