For the oenophile dad, how about a jaunt out to Virginia wine country? Located in Madison County just south of Sperryville and near Shenandoah National Park, this intimate and picturesque winery, a mere 7 acres, is known for Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Norton grapes. On Father’s Day, the winery will offer wine and stogie specials (featuring Pancea Cigars), plus live music by local musician Travis Elliott.
