Celebrate all things paternal (and patriotic) with founding father George Washington at his Virginia home.  The first president will share thoughts on his role as husband, stepfather and father of the nation, and he’ll pose for photo opps in full-on 1776 garb. While you’re there, stop by the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant for a barbecue-themed Father’s Day buffet. General admission to the museum and grounds is $20 for adults, $12 for kids 6-11. Kids 5 and under are free.
