Zero Prostate Cancer Run/Walk
Where: Pentagon Row Courtyard, 1101 S. Joyce St., Arlington
When: Saturday, June 15, 8:15 a.m.
Start the day with some exercise (for a good cause) and earn your Dad’s Day dinner. This year’s race event features a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk, a Kids’ Superhero Dash for Dad and a virtual “Snooze for Dudes” program (for those who want to show their support but aren’t inclined to get up early). A post-race celebration includes T-shirts, free food and prizes, plus a kids’ activity area with face painting. Proceeds support prostate cancer research, testing and public education. Registration is $35 for 5K or $20 for the 1-miler (all ages); $15 for the kids’ dash. Discounts offered to military, veterans, first responders and prostate cancer survivors.
