Columbia Pike Blues Festival
Where: Intersection of Columbia Pike and S. Walter Reed Drive, Arlington
When: Saturday, June 15, 1-8:30 p.m.
It’s a block party! This year’s daylong music fest promises local brews from New District Brewing Co.; food from Sloppy Mama’s Barbeque, Mac’s Donuts, Cantina Mexicana and Rebellion on the Pike; and a musical lineup that includes Thornetta Davis, Hardway Connection, Lauren Calve Band, Funky Miracle and soul-blues master Sugaray Rayford. Plus, locally made art and giftables for sale, and a visit from the Arlington Arts Truck. Admission is free.
