6. High Tea
Fyve—the restaurant and lounge inside Pentagon City’s Ritz-Carlton—is offering a special Mommy & Me Tea on May 12 and 13 from 2:30 -4:30 p.m. (prices start at $38 for adults; $16 for children). Guests can enjoy a variety of tea selections (including a “Teddy Bear” tea for kids), fresh pastries and other delicate housemade treats. If you prefer a little history with your chamomile, the City of Falls Church is putting on its own tea on May 13, from 2-4 p.m. ($33 per person) at the  Historic Cherry Hill Farmhouse, where a costumed docent will be your host as you munch on finger sandwiches, sweets and scones. Reservations required.
