Looking for a place to get into the Cinco de Mayo spirit? Try one of these area bars and restaurants.

Snag a few $3 cochinita pibil tacos at this Falls Church taqueria. The traditional Mayan dish includes braised pork cooked in an achiote and bitter orange marinade and served topped with pickled onions, cilantro and salsa verde. The deal goes all day, with the restaurant open until 10 p.m.

Cinco de Mayo drink specials start at noon at this popular Mexican spot in Clarendon. Select margaritas, draft beers and guacamole are $5, along with Patron margaritas for $8. Going big? Opt for a four-taco platter, plus a liter-sized margarita for $35.

Celebrate Cinco with an outdoor happy hour in Rosslyn from 4-8 p.m. The pop-up beer garden at the Plaza on 19th will feature food from the El Chilango food truck, live music from Cecilia Esquivel, games and plenty of cerveza. The 21-and-up event is free to enter. Beer is available for purchase by cash, credit or debit cards, but El Chilango only takes cash, so be prepared.
