“Tell Me a Story”

Spring Wedding Showcase

Where: 2941 Restaurant, 2941 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church
Planning on saying “I do” sometime soon? Here’s your chance to check out a variety of table settings, flower arrangements and more in a two-hour stretch. Local vendors be on display at 2941 Restaurant, where event-goers can enjoy hors d’oeuvres and check things off their wedding to-do list. $20 per couple.
The British Invasion Years
When: March 7, 9 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.)
Where: The State Theatre, 220 N. Washington St., Falls Church
The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, The Beach Boys … hear classic tunes by these and other ’60s faves in a jam-packed—and nearly sold out—night of tributes. “Come Together” and get in line early: Dining reservations are no longer available, and the remaining tables are first-come, first-serve. Tickets $35 at the door.
Rock the Rink
When: March 9, 6 p.m.
Where: Pentagon Row, 1201 S. Joyce St., Arlington
For those looking to get some last-minute ice skating in, here’s your chance to do so—and score a free skate rental just by showing up in your favorite Capitals gear. As it’s also game day, nearby bars will screen the game, restaurants and eateries will offer specials, and Slapshot will stop by to say hi. There will be giveaways, too; and if you give blood on March 28 at the Washington Capitals Medstar Capitals Iceplex, a bobblehead of defenseman John Carlson and a T-shirt are up for grabs. Unity: A 311 Day Tribute

Calling all 311 fans. Get ready to rock. Tribute band Unity shares the stage with party band The Sonic Boom, covering a raging playlist of 90s hits at this high-octane show. It promises to be a Beautiful Disaster. Tickets $10-$22.
