From June 23 -27, 2015 the YMCA Arlington Angels and the YMCA Arlington Saints girls and boys competitive gymnastics teams participated in this year’s Annual YMCA Nationals in Wichita, Kansas. Three boys and twelve girls attended the event, where many of the gymnasts medaled in levels 3-9, a huge accomplishment at this national event of more than 1,200 competitors from 21 states. Additionally, senior Maddie Schman was awarded the Outstanding Athlete Scholarship award at the start of the event, and the Angels placed 5th overall of 113 YMCAs.
