Chartered in 1789, this “public ivy” and sports powerhouse is the flagship campus of the UNC system. Ranked by U.S. News & World Report as #29 among National Universities, Chapel Hill maintains an out-of-state tuition of $36,222 and a student enrollment of 19,117.
