13. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Chartered in 1789, this public research university and sports powerhouse is the flagship campus of the UNC system. Plenty of Arlingtonians vie for admission to this “public ivy” and love those Tar Heels. The out of state school currently costs freshmen $32, 306 for the 2018-19 school year.
