Founded in 1693, the College of William & Mary has the distinction of being the second-oldest college in the United States. Its historic Williamsburg campus hosts just 6,299 students and includes the Wren Building, the oldest college building in the nation. U.S. News and World Report ranks the college 34th on its list of the best national universities. In-state tuition for 2015-2016 is $16,919 according to U.S. News.
