TeaDM Lounge
Say it slowly, and the name of this hip venue should clue you in to the two things it’s all about: tea and electronic dance music (EDM). Its TeaDM Vibes menu allows visitors to choose two to three flavors to blend with its imported Jasmine green tea or Assam black tea, but bubble tea and bumping music aren’t the only things for which Jay Tran’s growing company (TeaDM Mini opened in Vienna at the end of June) has received praise—its sea salt coffee is a best seller, a traditional Vietnamese coffee brewed for four hours and mixed with condensed milk and sea-salt cream.

TNR Cafe
Tea. Noodles. Rice. This 12-year-old, family-owned Arlington restaurant whose name derives from those three items actually offers much more than that, including chicken, pork, beef, duck, seafood, vegetable dishes and soups. Among more unusual bubble-tea options are the apple and grapefruit cream teas, but the two most popular keep it pretty simple: black tea with milk and taro green milk tea.
