Lily Bubble Tea & Smoothie

Next time you hop on or off the Crystal City Metro, consider visiting this hidden outpost. Tucked away in the underground Crystal City Shops, Lily Bubble Tea & Smoothie has a long list of fruity flavors. The taro and Thai options are most popular, but if you’re willing to venture away from those more traditional flavors, watermelon and papaya are a few hard-to-come-by alternatives. There are non-milky concoctions too—kiwi, pineapple, green apple—plus the option to add extra bubbles, jelly, red bean, protein or an energy boost.

Möge Tee

At this international franchise, milk is not tea’s only dairy companion; cheese also plays a role here, with cream cheese and heavy cream forming the “cheese foam” that tops one of its most popular menu items, the cheese foam/fresh red dragon fruit tea. As with all of their fruit drinks, Möge Tee’s dragon fruit is cut fresh, and in this drink, the fruit is added to a green tea base and served with the topping. And for those really looking to shake things up, so to speak, other intriguing beverages feature avocados and purple yams.
