TenPenh

Pan-Asian TenPenh was reborn in the Silverline Center development of Tyson’s Corner in late 2016, five years after its longstanding D.C. location closed. Its kids’ menu offers a range of tempting options, from “bao” sliders stuffed with fried chicken, pork or brisket, to crispy tempura shrimp or chicken baskets. Alternately, young diners can wrap their own rice-paper rolls with vermicelli noodles, steamed chicken and vegetables. Adults will enjoy the extensive cocktail list and dishes ranging from sushi, ramen and hot-stone rice bowls to entrees such as steamed red snapper and Peking duck.  Come dessert, it’s not uncommon to see a war of spoons over the Taiwanese shaved snow, topped with fresh fruit and boba pearls. A warm-weather patio provides some space for restless toddlers who need to be outside.
