Rappahannock Coffee
This favorite coffee shop on Columbia Pike is slated for redevelopment, but for now fans of the decade-old establishment continue to prove their loyalty. Coffee is roasted on-site (“keeps the prices down,” according to the owners) and commuters stream in starting at 6 a.m., with some pausing for a few minutes in a quiet seat in back or a perching at one of the high tables in front. All drinks can be iced, so try the honey-vanilla latte cold, for a change of pace.
