Dave Grohl
Foo Fighter and onetime Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, who kinda-sorta compared rising alt-pop star Billie Eilish to Nirvana earlier this year, grew up in Springfield, Virginia, attending Thomas Jefferson High School (a Fairfax County public school that closed in 1987), Bishop Ireton High School and Annandale High School before ultimately dropping out altogether. His discography with the Foo Fighters includes “Arlandria,” which he hopefully played when the band played the debut concert at newish D.C. music venue The Wharf.
