It costs a lot to live in Northern Virginia, and some neighborhoods are pricier than others. We researched which parts of Arlington County commanded top dollar for homes sold in 2017. Our findings are drawn from a chart showing the average sales price and other real estate metrics in more than 300 area neighborhoods in the March/April 2018 issue of Arlington Magazine. To be included, a neighborhood had to have had at least 15 total sales during the past five years.  The list excludes condo buildings.  Here are the Top 10.
