And the unsung hero award goes to…
Betsy Frantz, who served as founding director, president and CEO of the Leadership Center for Excellence from 1998 until March 2018. Over the course of two decades, Frantz was the engine and the glue. Leadership Arlington now has 1,600 graduates (and counting), and the Center has expanded to offer a young professionals program, a youth leadership program, an annual leadership conference and other programs and events. Her motto? “If not you, then who?”
